Did I notice the things that you do
Did I say how thankful I am
To have spent time with someone like you

 

Did I listen when your heart was troubled
Did I stop just to kiss you for fun
Was I there when you feared your future
Did I hold you till the fear was gone

 

Did I tell you each day that God loves you
Did I tell you He sent me to you
Because in His glorious wisdom
What was coming your way, He already knew

 

As I sat by your bed that last evening
I prayed for His mercy and peace
As morning was rising on the following day
I knew that your suffering had ceased

 

Did I tell you today that I love you
Did I tell you how much you'll be missed
Days after you passed, a whisper in my ear
     " Did I tell you today that I love you"
